Helping streamline workflow at a rapidly growing agency
JimJam Ideas is a creative agency based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. With a team of 10 full time staff plus a network of freelancers, they work with the likes of Tourism Tasmania, Australian National Maritime Museum, Macquarie Leasing and more.
They have also appeared a number of times on ‘The Pitch’, a segment of popular Australian advertising show The Gruen Transfer.
Thanks to its creative prowess and focus, JimJam Ideas is a rapidly growing agency. When Account Director Kate Somerford joined the agency from 303Lowe, there were only 3 people and with so much work there just hadn’t been time to establish a clear process and workflow for creating and sending print ads.
‘When I arrived at JimJam there were only 3 of us and the process of creating and sending ads was quite ad-hoc’, said Kate ‘I knew if we were going to continue producing great work for our clients at our current growth rate we needed to put some proper processes and workflows in place’.
Kate had used other advertising delivery products before and found them frustrating, so when searching for the right platform for JimJam she knew she needed to find a system that was easy for new people to learn but could still support the growing needs of the organisation.

‘Nowdays, we have a very streamlined and efficient workflow in place for creating ads’ says Kate ‘When we get a brief and a media schedule from clients, the Account Managers straight away create the job tickets in Adsend. The studio then uses these job tickets as their ‘to-do list’, creating an ad according to the specs on the ticket and uploading it for delivery’.
‘The best part about Adsend is that it saves me getting asked the same question 10 times a day’, Kate says ‘Because it’s all in Adsend, anyone can see what ads are booked, what still needs to be created, what’s been delivered and more. It’s our central point of truth and really makes my life much easier’
