Automating advertising delivery in Western Australia’s premier agency

Marketforce are a fully integrated communications agency with over 80 staff. Based out of Perth in Western Australia, they apply their creative prowess to campaigns for the likes of HBF, Mirvac and Mrs Mac’s pies.

As part of the Omnicom Group (owners of agency networks DDB, TBWA and BBDO), Marketforce is one of Western Australia’s premier advertising agencies.

By migrating from their previous delivery system to Adsend and automating their workflow with Adgate, Marketforce has been able to save hundreds of man-hours per month.
 

The Challenges

Before using Adsend, their production workflow involved a lot of manual processes. Media schedules would come from their clients media agencies and the account manager would enter them into the internal booking system (BCC).

The job lists would then be passed to the production department where the graphic designers would re-create the jobs in their previous advertising delivery system before creating and uploading the PDF.

Because the two systems weren’t talking to each other, the exact same data was being entered twice by two different people, costing the agency both time and money.

 

How Adsend helped

By migrating from their previous delivery system to Adsend and automating their workflow with Adgate, Marketforce has been able to save hundreds of man-hours per month.

The designers don’t even have to log in to Adsend to upload the PDF’s, instead they drop the PDF into a hotfolder on the desktop uses the booking number as the file name and it is automatically uploaded, preflighted and assigned to the job ticket ready to be sent.

Danny Coleman of Marketforce says all job tickets are now systematically created in Adsend.

By using Adgate, we have been able to integrate Adsend with our internal information management system. This means that not only do we have access to live accurate specifications, but all of our job tickets are now systematically created in Adsend. When approved our final file is automatically uploaded, matched to a job ticket, pre-flighted and is ready to go. This automated process saves us a HUGE amount of valuable time and ultimately allows us to run a more streamlined, efficient production studio.
