Dubsat Pty Ltd ATF The DubSat Unit Trust (Dubsat), including but not limited to Adsend, Tracksend and The SubStation (Services), a division of Omnilab Media Pty Limited (Omnilab Media) recognises the importance of protecting the personal information you provide when you become a member of MediaPro. The purpose of this policy is to communicate clearly the personal information handling practices of Dubsat. Dubsat respects your privacy and takes care to comply with Australian and New Zealand's privacy laws when handling personal information.
1.1 Dubsat collects personal information primarily for purposes which are directly related to the Dubsat functions and activities and only when it is necessary for or directly related to such purpose. In this context, "collect" means gather, acquire or obtain by any means, information in circumstances where the individual is identifiable or identified. These purposes include:
(a) billing and account management; or
(b) to supply customers with the products and services ordered from it and its related companies.
1.2 Dubsat collects personal information as part of normal communication processes directly related to the purpose, including:
(a) registration details on MediaPro;
(b) when an individual emails, telephones or otherwise contacts Dubsat; or
(c) when an individual hands us a business card.
1.3 It is our usual practice to collect personal information directly from the individual. Occasionally we may receive personal information about an individual:
(a) from a third party who has contacted us and supplied us with personal information of an individual, but only if the individual has consented to collection in this way; or
(b) from a publically available source.
2. Use and disclosure
2.1 Dubsat may disclose your personal information to related body corporate of Dubsat, including any related body corporate located in Australia or New Zealand and may also use your name, address and job title to send you direct marketing material. You hereby consent to such disclosure and use. Dubsat will not otherwise use or transfer your personal information to any other person or entity.
2.2 Dubsat will use your personal information for the purpose which you provide that personal information.
2.3 Dubsat may otherwise use your personal information only in the following circumstances:
(a) where Dubsat has obtained your consent to the use or disclosure;
(b) where the purpose is directly related to the purpose for which you provided that personal information and you might reasonably expect such use or disclosure;
(c) where the personal information is used in a form in which you are not identified, or is used for statistical or research purposes and will not be published in a form that could reasonably be expected to identify you;
(d) when it is required or authorised by law;
(e) where the use of the information is necessary to avoid prejudice to the maintenance of the law by any public sector agency, for the enforcement of law imposing a pecuniary penalty, or for proceedings before a court or tribunal; and/or
(f) where the use of the information is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to public health or safety, or the life or health of an individual.
2.4 From time to time Dubsat or any member of Omnilab Media may also use your personal information provide by you to:
(a) provide you with information about Dubsat or any member of Omnilab Media's marketing activities such as competitions, sales and special events; and/or
(b) to improve the quality and effectiveness of the MediaPro site. Any report prepared by Dubsat from its statistical analysis of the MediaPro site may be used for marketing, advertising or research purposes and may be provided to another party (subject to the restrictions described under 'Anonymity').

3. Data Quality
Dubsat will take all reasonable steps to protect the privacy and integrity of your personal information and to ensure that it is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant and not misleading. Dubsat relies on the individual to inform us if any of the personal information is changed.
4. Data Security
4.1 Dubsat will take all reasonable steps (including its storage in a secure database) to protect the personal information we hold from loss, unauthorised use, access, manipulation, modification or disclosure, or other misuse.
4.2 Dubsat periodically reviews its security measures.
4.3 While Dubsat makes all reasonable endeavours to protect your personal information, it cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online or by email. You accept the inherent security implications of dealing online and by email and will not hold Dubsat responsible for any breach of security unless we have been negligent or in wilful default. Websites that are linked to ours are responsible for their own privacy practices and you should check those websites for their respective privacy statements.
4.4 Dubsat will not keep your personal information for longer than is required for the purposes for which the information was obtained, or may be lawfully used, and will take reasonable steps to destroy in a secure manner any personal information which is no longer required.
5. Access to personal information
5.1 Where Dubsat holds personal information about you in a way that can be readily retrieved, you will be entitled to have access to that information.
5.2 Where you make a request to be given access to your personal information Dubsat will provide you with access to the personal information that it holds about you as soon as reasonably practicable.

6. Correction to personal information
If any of your personal information is incorrect, Dubsat will correct it upon receipt of an e-mail from you.
It is not possible for you to use MediaPro without providing personal information including your user name, email address and password. However, where personal information may be compiled into aggregate form, for example in a report prepared by Dubsat for the purposes of marketing or research, your personal information will not be used in the form in which you provided it to us and you will not identified in or able to be identified from any such report.
